At LA Dance
Hi everyone thanks for checking out the theatre section of our website ! Whether it's your very first show, you are a seasoned performer or you are somewhere in between, we want to work with you ! We offer a two types of shows every year (outlined below) in addition to a handful of specialty classes (ex. of past classes have included, A Cappella singing group, Improvisation, Acting 101, Playwriting class Etc. ) in addition to private acting and or vocal coaching. We are a very family friendly, nurturing studio, when you are here we take the time to hone in on your talents and develop your skills and performance arts craft. If you have any questions or want to schedule an audition for an upcoming show please E-mail Miss Sam (Theatre Director) at Samantha.firstname.lastname@example.org
Main Stage Show: ($140/month for 2 hours of rehearsal per week // ($68/month for 1 hour of rehearsal a week BOTH groupings must also pay a one time $40 costume / script fee. ). This show is performed on a venue stage in Bridgewater NJ (most of our past shows have performed on the BRHS & BRMS stages) full costumes, lighting, sound, staging of the show as well as a cast party. For this show we also usually schedule and attend a cast trip into NYC to see a Broadway show. ( This trip is completely optional however if you do attend, parents are required to pay separately for this trip and also attend the trip, which is at a very discounted group rate)
Studio Show: ($140/month for 2 hours of rehearsal per week // ($68/month for 1 hour of rehearsal a week BOTH groupings must also pay a one time $40 costume / script fee. ) This show is a smaller show with full blocking and costumes etc. but is performed at the studio in a much more casual setting. Students benefit from this show because it is smaller, kids have the opportunity to go out for bigger roles and over come stage fright before moving on to the bigger show, similarly kids who are in the bigger show enjoy the more relaxed pacing and performance aspects of this show and we have both new actors and seasoned performers alike in this show.
