OUR STORY
Family owned and operated since 1955, Loralyn Gaughran, (owner) took over Lois Allen School of Dance of Clark in 1991. Since then she has opened another location in Bridgewater (celebrating 10 years in 2020) LA Dance has two great locations, professional dance educators, a wonderful community of dancers and fully-equipped studios. Whether you’re a beginner and want to dance to have fun, an experienced dancer looking to improve your technique, or a musical theatre kid who wants to enhance their training.

2019 Teachers
We provide a highly qualified staff, placing special emphasis on poise, grace, body discipline and control. Our classes are developed to encourage self-expression and heightened self-confidence. Our dance studio take pride in being family owned and operated. Students say they have a feeling of "home" being in our studio.
Most of our staff grew up in our studio as students themselves. They then furthered their education and completed college with various degrees in dance, theatre & education. They are all members of Dance Educators of America & members of Associated Dance Teachers of NJ. Some of our teachers have danced Professionally and traveled the world to further their education in dance.
